My Explaination Since you here, I can figure you probably followed the link from the Interuser Games Pack project page. And since you are reading this, you would probably like to know more about what its all about. When I first started working on this project, it was some kind of 'mad libz' maker. I had no idea how the name of the project fit with what it was making, but I worked on it anyways. About a week later it hit me. The interuser was the confusing part. Was it made for more than one user? Was it supposed to go between users, like an interstate highway goes between states? If it was the highway mode, then whats a 'Interuser game pack'. A game pack that goes between users? I was very confused. Then I got hit with the -almost- perfect explaination that might not be correct, but its what I'm going with anyway. according to me - "Interuser Games pack means a pack of games that the user's character can go between!" It was the only explaination I could think of. I instantly stopped working on the 'mad libz' and started a character maker for the project. Soon, I got this images in my mind of these cool adventure games, some created with tools included with the pack, some made by myself, and having one character that you can use to play through them all. I was excited. I got coding. And thats what I'm doing now. I made this project get up to a 87.something activity percentile, all by myself. But if this project is ever going to make it, we need some help. I can't do this alone. Two people can't do it alone. So get with it and give me an e-mail so we can get this thing done. We can use anyone who either knows a bit about visual basic or a bit about drawing graphics, both 2d and 3d, or doing sound effects, etc. The slightly more 'Technical' explainationThe Interuser games pack will hopefully become a group of games - rpg, adventure, action, sidescroller, etc - in which a single character can be be used in all for all the games. The pack will include several pre-made games, and then tools to create games for each of the game engines. You are probably tired of me saying this, but we really need some help to get this done. The task this requires, making several game engines and tools to customize them, is hard work. Too hard for one or two people alone. If you can do anything - and i mean anything (Well, almost anything) to help the project, we would sure like you to say. Just drop me an e-mail, at darrath@users.sourceforge.net.
